Historic Renovation
Completed in the 1920’s, this 10-story landmark hotel of downtown Greenville was restored to its former grandeur. Careful attention to detail in the lobbies, restaurant and grand ballrooms was required to remain true to the original design intent. Challenges included updating for codes, infrastructure for power, telecommunications and fire alarm systems, especially through the extensive marble and plaster finishes.
Careful coordination with budgeting and close interface with building officials allowed this project to move forward and spark the upgrade of the south end of Main Street.
