New, state of the art federal courthouse in downtown Greenville, SC. Building was designed at four stories, covering 2 acres, 195,000 SF, and achieved LEED Gold Certification in May 2022. It houses seven courtrooms and nine judges’ chambers and workspaces for the U.S. Marshals, US Probation and Pretrial Services, the US Attorney and Federal Public Defender. The courthouse location is downtown in Greenville’s Downtown Business District. Building was formally dedicated on October 17, 2022 to former governor Carroll A. Campbell, Jr.
