Renovation

Burdette Engineering, Inc. provided electrical design services for the renovation of the campus main dining commons.  It was completed in two phases beginning in 2010 and finishing summer of 2013.  Phase I work was implemented to provide a streamlined food delivery in a canteen setting and to prepare the students for the changes to the food delivery coming in Phase II.    The Phase II renovation included electrical infrastructure design, one of the first installations of Hubbell’s new high lumen LED downlights, lighting for the varsity room, power design for new kitchen equipment and hoods, HVAC connections and new fire alarm system for the entire building.  Burdette’s Phase II design brought a new concept in food delivery providing students with a wide variety of new choices and a more socially interactive environment.
