Arc-Flash Study
Burdette completed a study to determine the level of protection employees of AVX Corporation required to be adequately prepared in the event of an arc-flash incident in the workplace. This will allow the company to comply with NFPA 70, Part 2 which requires them to provide an “electrically safe work condition” and educate their personnel accordingly. Final report included arc flash and shock hazard reports, protective device settings, short-circuit current study (Short-Form), electrical equipment evaluation, single-line diagrams, and feeder schedules.
